• Socket.io game server: every move is validated server-side, the client is never trusted
• Wallet model with strict money invariants and stakes locked for the duration of a game
• Abandoned-game handling: timers release the stake, so nobody can freeze an opponent’s money
• Per-game Elo rating with skill-based matchmaking
